509 - The Girl in Lovers Lane. A decent, but still cheesy movie with fantastic riffing makes this an absolute winner in my eyes. I find myself laughing almost non-stop throughout the entire episode. Crow’s “Tryin’ to look at nobody but I’m lookin’ at everybody!“ riff is probably my favorite in the entire series. It doesn’t make much sense out of context, but if you’re a fan of the show and you happen to stumble upon this stupid blog (fat chance!), you oughta know what it’s about.

It’s actually tied with Village of the Giants (523) and Girls Town (601) at the moment, but I’d put it just a step above those two due to my preference for Joel and because I find the host segments in Girls Town to be the weakest of the three. All three episodes are super fun, save for GILL’s downer ending. That’s probably the one negative thing I have to say about it. Why kill the best and most likeable character?!?! Crow and Servo going on about it at the end is a nice touch though.
